Joie spin car seat… what IS this? Does anyone actually know?

Theres a blue and red oblong sticker on each side of the seat where you can recline it… what does the red and blue indicate? Doesn’t seem to mean anything?

also, should I be worried that the box didn’t include a manual even though there’s a punch for one? Would that mean it’s potentially been a seat that’s been returned?

I think my manual was in a compartment inside the seat itself, are there any bits that open?

@DreamingDaisies yes and it wasn’t in there. And wasn’t in the box. Just worried perhaps the seat had been used before and returned…

Do you know what the red and blue stickers are for?

Think on ours they were the reclining settings. The ones for smaller babies were one colour and the bigger were another. Haven't used the seat for a while though so not entirely sure I'm afraid.

Blue are the recline settings when in rear facing mode. Red shows recline settings for forward facing mode.

@PassMeTheCookies probably being silly but I still don’t get this. The sticker with the colours is the same whether front or back?

Can you share a pic? I don’t have the spin but have another Joie seat and you put the seat in a blue position for one way(ff for example) and a “red” position for the other, say rear facing. It has numbers on it as well I think, showing which position is for which age? Some positions are clearly more upright and some are for younger babies.
