Help me find this self help book from the 90’s

I bought a copy from Waterstones around 1992-95. It was an early iteration of a motivational self help book. The cover was bright orange or red and it had a gold embossed bit, maybe a star saying best seller or something. The title was How to be Successful … I think! Could have been something similar to that but I’m sure it had the word successful or succeed on the cover in large dark blue letters.

the thing I remember most clearly is one of the early chapters which talked about being disciplined, waking up at 5am, eating well, exercising, taking vitamin supplements etc.

Does anyone else remember this book?

It wasn’t 7 habits of highly successful people?

Ninetiesbook · 13/10/2024 19:13

Nope, definitely not that one. I can’t recall the author unfortunately …

How to win friends and influence people had a similar cover if I recall correctly. But not a 90s book.

Yup, Bill's got it right above. Is it that one OP?

Ooh I'm invested in this as I read my first self help book in 1992 when I was 14 and have been self helping myself with books ever since! I'm sure it was reddy orangy!

Thanks for replies!

Not either of those … and the cover had more red. It was all red or orange. It definitely had a really succinct title with the word success or successful in it. How to be a success? How to be successful? …

Not that one either … I hope I’m remembering the title correctly! I recall reading it and thinking this is all a bit much … it’s unrealistic… and I want to re read it to see how or if my perspective has changed since then
