To ask for swollen door solutions

We recently moved. Bathroom door was fine all summer but has now swollen up to such an extent that you can’t close it fully.

The bathroom is ventilated by an extractor fan, and I usually open the window after using the shower. It has a working radiator, albeit on the other side of the room from the door.

The wet room style shower is just inside the door and is a bit messy. We’ve also stopped hanging towels (or wet ones at least) on the pegs at the back of the door.

Can anyone suggest anything? I’m wondering if replacing the wet room style shower with something more enclosed might help. Or maybe we just have to put up with it.

It's not immediate, but when it's dried out and fits again, take it off and plane a few millimetres off wherever it's sticking. Paint the bare wood and that will stop it absorbing water in the future. Alternatively, buy a new door and follow the same process, if required.

Can’t you just sand down the edge where it’s sticking? (5mins) and then paint it? (5mins)

Agree with PP, just shave the door slightly.
