How did your CMPA baby react when/if they accidentally had dairy?

Hi,

My DD has a CMPA and has been on Neocate since she was like 2 months old. She attends nursery and since Monday night she's been unsettled, and has been being sick. She's being sick mostly at night and was sick all day on Thursday. Spoke to the GP out of hours on Thursday who said that it's probably gastroenteritis and because baby didn't have a temp and wasn't classed as dehydrated she didn't need to see her in person.

I then told the doctor I have suspicions that she may have accidentally been fed dairy as the cries resemble those when she used to have 'normal' formula. I mentioned that the nursery doesnt make all their food from scratch so there could be hidden allergens in food and food can also be prepared in an environment that handles milk. She said it's a valid point and it it could be the case or it could be gastro.

I just want to know how your baby reacted when they were accidentally given dairy and how long it took for symptoms to ease? Thanks
