He has died aged 69. This is the top news story on all of the news platforms but none mention the allegations of sexual misconduct. Why is this? It is not even noted!

Well probably because he was found not guilty and probably a bit crass seemingly as how he only died this morning / afternoon

CallMeFlo · 12/10/2024 19:00

Because he's died very suddenly & unexpectedly & they were allegations he was found not guilty of. So bringing them up is un necessary and in poor taste

Burntout101 · 12/10/2024 19:02

The Guardian article mentions it.

LindorDoubleChoc · 12/10/2024 19:04

It's been mentioned on both of the Radio 2 reports I've heard.

DancingPhantomsOnTheTerrace · 12/10/2024 19:05

It's in the fourth sentence of the bbc obituary.

YouCantTunaFish · 12/10/2024 19:06

They might not be verbalising it but the BBC video coverage has shown him going in to/ out of court so it's there without them having to say anything. More is going to come out about him for sure

MinervaMcGonagallsCat · 12/10/2024 19:07

He was a deeply awful man.

Rapist. Misogynist. Homophobe.
