To find some foods too wet?

I’ve got no sense of taste so probably eat for texture.
I’ve made a cottage pie tonight but substituted the mashed potato for mashed swede.
I’m reheating it now and really don’t fancy eating it although family are looking forward to it.

Well swede contains a lot of water so it will be wetter, can you bung a load of cheese on top and brown it in the oven so it has a 'crust'?

Throw some red lentils in to cook in the moisture.

Yes absolutely, I definitely like to have a hard/ crunchy texture in or alongside a meal. I don’t like cottage/ shepherds pie much precisely because it’s all mushy, if I did have it I would probably have chips or something on the side.
