Online yoga class - can recommend a really lovely one it’s Monday nights 8-9. When I do this followed by a nice soak in the bath and a pamper it’s my favourite night of the week and I sleep like a baby! Do a weekly face mask, hairmask and tidy up your nails.
Get a walking pad so you walk at home when little one is asleep to get steps up. Walking is one of the best ways to lose weight.
Drink plenty of water. Buy a 500ml bottle and refill it 4 times a day. 1 bottle when you wake and 1 between each meal
Add protein to each meal, don’t have any carb only meals as it causes blood sugar spikes/dips that leads to cravings for carbs/sugar. Also we need more protein as we age. Eat plenty of fruit, veg, nuts, seeds, healthy fats, wholegrain carbs. Cut down on processed foods.
Consider going alcohol free for a period of time - massively helps sleep which helps the glow up!!
How about purchasing a National Trust pass for cheap days out at the weekend with your little one? They are interesting/educational, there‘s always loads of kids activities on at them and it’s great for accessing nature (huge mental health benefits) and an opportunity to get in some exercise for you both. Costs about £10 a month and you get free parking and entrance.
Skincare - keep it simple. Cerave is a great brand. Cleanser, serum (vitamin c in day time, retinol at night), moisturiser (with spf 50 for daytime).
Do what you enjoy whatever that is make an hour a day for it when little one is in bed - reading, tv, duolingo, puzzles etc!!
I’m almost 40 and have to get my roots done every 3-4 weeks now to avoid greys.
