Yung Filly charged with rape in Australia

Sorry if there’s already a thread on this, I couldn’t see one anywhere.

Some of you may know Yung Filly who’s a content creator within the UK as well as an music artist. Today it was reported that he’s currently being held in Australia until his court case in December.

He’s been charged with 4 counts of sexual penetration without consent, 3 counts of assault occasioning bodily harm. He is also accused of impeding the woman’s breathing or circulation by applying pressure to her neck. I’ve included the link below if anyone would like to read the news article.

Honestly I don't know who he is but I hope justice is served.

I don't know him any more than the reels I see but him and his mates do seem like nice guys who would be role models for young men, a role model that's very much needed - so I was surprised to read this. Obviously doesn't mean I doubt it happened as we keep seeing what a dark place the world is.

when I read of the strangling, it reminded me this is seen as a "kink" that seems to be popular nowadays so he may use that as his excuse along with saying it was consensual. I imagine it's because of how violently she was attacked. I'm interested to see his response.

A lot of women have claimed that he’s sexually harassed them on social media so I don’t think it’s the biggest shock ever. I guess we’ll see all the evidence and what his defence is when this goes to trial in December

Really? Is that over a long period? Like I say I only know him from when he pops up on my reels so I don’t know any history and haven’t read anything about him.

Despite the horrendous charges against him, he has been released on bail. I'm absolutely disgusted at this. There are multiple serious allegations of violence against women and he is allowed to be out in public. Just shows the disgusting attitude towards violence against women we have.

@MoreCardassianThanKardashian they’ve been quite spread out over the years. Some people would believe it but the majority always denied that anything like that could be true. I guess they’ve changed their tune now!

@CrunchySnow I was quite surprised at that also. Maybe because he’s surrounded his passport they’re happy with the fact that he can’t run back to the UK. I hope justice is served at the trial

That is interesting. The cynic in me wonders if he's pissed the wrong person off and can no longer get away with it rather than actual justice being served.

I read today that it's a sex worker. In the thread I read some conflicting views on this. For example, as he's using a sex worker that shows where his morals are and others saying it was consensual. Some saying consensual solely based on payment. Not any reliable news source tho.

@MoreCardassianThanKardashian sex worker or not, he shouldn’t be doing anything without consent. I guess we can try and find out as much information as possible but we won’t know more until the trial.

What I find interesting is because this has happened in Australia and he’s been charged there. If he was convicted and served a sentence, does that mean he’d have to serve that in Australia? I’m not sure how the laws work when you’ve committed a crime in another country but he’s pretty fucked if that’s the case

Of course, I completely agree. It's disappointing to read comments from those who seem to think it's not the case.
