I told a friend in confidence about my pregnancy at 6 weeks. I haven’t told the other friend as no offence she is terrible at keeping secrets and the whole world would know. I said to the friend that I told that I wasn’t ready to tell anyone else yet until after my 12 week scan. I met up with the other friend and she obviously knows and was talking about pregnancy and hinting ‘oh have you been trying?’ ‘Have you something to tell us?’ It’s clearly obvious she knows. I’m absolutely fuming. I feel like I just want to not bother with them anymore as my trust and confidence is clearly broken. I have trust issues with people due to friendship breakdowns in the past of similar issues so I trust no one and for me this is a no no and especially hinting and forcing me to announce when I’m not ready. I don’t even want to tell them anymore about my pregnancy! AIBU?
