Disorganised new manager, last minute meetings

I have been in my job for nearly 3 years and had a great relationship with my previous manager. Sadly he left to pursue another opportunity and his replacement started around 4 months ago.

He's ok. Communication has been poor and he ignores my emails most of the time. He never checks in or makes an effort other than when he needs something. My previous manager really cared about the team, it wasn't always about work. It's not been great but I can live with that as it's a flexible job and I'm left to manage my own workload which I prefer.

Anyway, I work from home and have to travel once a month to the head office which is 4 hours away. I normally stay for 2 nights. It's not a set date, just whenever the team is available to attend. My manager is very disorganised though and over the last couple of months has only given me a week's notice. My old manager use to arrange meetings at least a month in advance which gave everyone plenty of time to organise themselves, personal commitments, childcare etc. Last month he asked me to attend a meeting with only a week's notice and I'd already made plans after work that week and couldn't cancel them. He seemed annoyed but did reschedule the team meeting to the following week.

We have a 1-1 scheduled next week. WIBU to bring it up and explain that I'm happy to travel/attend meetings as usual but a week's notice isn't enough time and he needs to give more?

Just to add, this would be a very different situation if I didn't have to stay the night but since it does and does interfere with my personal time, I think it's only fair for him to provide more notice.
