Bug bites on face, am I over worrying?

I have what appears to be 2 bug bites on my face that appeared 5 days ago, one is flat, smooth, the other is slightly raised but also smooth and they are both red. I haven’t been worried about them because I thought they were bug bites, but it’s been 5 days and the redness is still there. I’m now overthinking and worrying it could be skin cancer such as basal cell

am I being unreasonable in worrying about this? How long for bug bites to clear?

Best bet is call in to a pharmacy and ask advice.

5 days is too soon to be worrying. If they are still there after a couple of weeks then rethink. I did have BSG and it looked like a tiny mole.

I wouldn't be "worrying" because it might still be a bug bite, but I would get it checked out.
