Hello
I'm a sew-er and I go to a sewing club. All my sewing stuff is currently in an old biscuit tin and taking it there is annoying .
I need something to cart my sewing stuff around in. Probably a bag more than a trolley or a carry box. Anyone got anything they use? Something with a lot of little pockets and elastics for the threads etc? Anyone got a good recommendation?

I used to attend a dressmaking course and used a small plastic tool box. You can get pretty versions, but the toolbox was cheaper and more sturdy.

I used a small make up box with fold out trays but perhaps you could make one that fits your needs exactly.

Oh hadn't thought of make up or tool boxes. I'd had a look on amazon and saw ones that sort of looked like a large pencil case

I found a lovely twin-lid sewing box in a charity shop :).

There are lots of lovely sewing/knitting tote bags on Amazon and in Hobbycraft that have multiple pockets for stash

i used to use a fishing box. Probably bigger than you want but lots of compartments, and often they are strong enough to sit on (and these days are often like little trolleys)

I use a nappy caddy for sewing days and at home, I always have what I need. I just transport in a bag for life.
