Just had another food delivery turn up at my address. Third time in as many weeks.
Assumed it was a mistake the first couple of times. I don't accept the food.
Tonight I asked who ordered it and he said it says 'Darlas house'
I did split up with someone just before the first time it happened. He never came to mine but did drop me home. Saw him for about six months.
Is this a coincidence? Is it harmless?
Thank you

Ring the restaurant/courier service and ask who put in the order and what number they used. Explain the situation, and ask them to stop forwarding orders to your address in the future

Thank you, I'll do that.

Thank you, I'll do that.

Oh and just in case: They might not give you the number, depending on their policy, but as your name is on the order, I believe you can use the Subject Access Request policy to make them give the number. It’s been linked to your account/residence on their system, so technically, you should have access to it.

when you have the number, plug it into your phone and see if it matches any contacts. If it doesn’t, create a new contact and log it into WhatsApp, see who comes up (name & profile pic)

Can you ask who’s name is on the card used to pay? Who are they ordering through? A supermarket or UberEats?

Could it be a family member helping you out?
