Help? Can we cancel Jet2 Holiday??

I've booked a week away in Turkey next May with my Husband. It wasn't expensive but not cheap either (around 2400k for 1 wk all inc) it's a 5 star- but most people are saying a 2 at best on Tripadvisor.
Over the last month or so there have been an outstanding amount of bad reviews on Tripadvisor, all stating the same - hardly any cutlery at mealtimes, no cups or wine glasses, coffee machines all broken, rooms dirty and bedding only changed every 10 days, rude staff, watered down soft drinks, running out of wine and lager...it sounds like somewhere the Inbetweeners would stay!! I booked all inclusive as the hotel was very remote (as we just wanted a quiet relaxing week away) but lots of people are saying they ended up eating out as was so poor.
I really want to cancel (booked on credit card) does anyone have experience of where we stand? Will they let us cancel or will we have to just change hotels?
It's my 50th later in the year and DH suggested we just cancel Turkey and put that money towards our USA trip instead, which I'd now rather do than throw away over 2k on what was meant to be a relaxing break - but sounds like the pits of hell 😭
Any help or advice appreciated 🙏

Google tells me that you can but you might pay a fee. I’d call them and see what they suggest.

You need to look at the terms and conditions for the cancellation policy. You are likely to be at a point before the departure date to forfeit only the deposit (which if you are on a low cost deposit scheme may be more than you have paid to date) but there will be % scale based on time up to 100% around 10 weeks before departure when balance is due.

You will lose the deposit

Or you can ask to change hotels and pay an admin fee.
