Does IV morphine cause hair loss?

I was given one dose of morphine (intra-vein) on Saturday at the hospital for pain relief. I felt the side effects until Sunday night (nausea, dizzyness etc). For the last few days, my hair started falling out a lot. I was wondering if this could be connected or something else might be going on.

No won't be the morphine but possibly to do with the reason you where in hospital. I lost chunks of hair after covid and is apparently quite common immune response

You've obviously been very ill so I'm not surprised you are seeing some loss. Order yourself some hair health supplements (I've heard Hairburst is good) if you are worried but I'm sure this is just a temporary thing. I hope you're on the mend now.
