Petrol leak advice

Bought a new car & it had a petrol leak. Leak resolved but a small amount on the road. Do I clean it up or will the rain wash it away! Advice please

call the fire station. they have the tools to deal with fuel spills.

Think they now charge a base fee for call outs like this. Petrol evaporates. Will be gone before anyone got there.

Given the amount of oily diesel that gets dumped on the road from ill maintained HGVs I wouldn't give it that much thought tbh

I'd just leave it if its a small amount.

Petrol soon evaporates so I wouldn't worry.
Diesel is more slippery and takes longer to dry up.

Sand? How much we talking, given its monsoon season and will get washed away.

Thanks everyone. It's not loads & has been sitting a day already before realising. Rain due on Mon so hopefully that clears it!

If it's loads you can put sand on it but if it's not much just leave it.
