Not really AIBU but posting for traffic. Can’t believe I’m starting another pip/dla/adp related thread. I don’t claim PIP I get ADP but it’s the same thing and the same process. Users on other threads have said the numbers claiming are unsustainable and they want to cut the bill? Is it just scare mongering? Is there any information at all on how they will decide who is eligible, if they’re changing the criteria, and what support there will be if any for anyone who will no longer be eligible? Will they just be cutting off someone with milder anxiety for example or will they keep someone with severe anxiety disorders on that have become disabilities? How will they decide whose disability is “bad” enough and who can work? Am really worried about it but don’t want any more scare mongering and just want to know the facts

Maybe I should have posted this in money or mumsnetters with disabilities instead. Maybe there are no facts and all we can do is speculate

I wouldn't have though that someone with milder anxiety would qualify for pip in the first place would they?

There are no facts at the moment. No point on worrying until the government announce their plans.

No. Everything is rumours, combined with some speculation around what could be done.
