Why are girls soo mean. Like I don't understand how being mean to others makes people feel better.

How do you control the tiger mum instinct? I know I'm being unreasonable but I want to confront the parent

I feel your pain! I could have written your post last week. I did hold back, my daughter has bounced back, but…Im just waiting for the next unkindness.

Children can be mean and it helps to instill confidence and assertiveness in your daughter. Teach her to stick up for herself and know her worth.

How old are the girls? If young primary age it may be worth speaking to the parent but don’t go in all guns blazing as they may have quite a different version of events. If it’s active meanness vs falling out or shifts in friendship groups consider speaking with the teacher.
