Sick of expanding jeans, even the more expensive ones now seem to have elastane in them, they just grow across the day!

Any tips on where to buy just cotton jeans?!

Where are you shopping? Are you trying to buy a specific cut of jeans? Leg shape, waist height etc?

Otherwise look at the likes of Levis.

Yes, does my head in! Pricey but I do have better luck with Levi's.

These days you have to go to a specific jeans specialist like Levi or Wrangler. Most fashion stores seem to have high elastane content, drives me mad too. They go all stretchy around the knees by lunchtime!

Levis and Wrangler still do some 100% cotton jeans, but be sure to read the description carefully if online, or if shopping in person, read the inside label- as even with them, most jeans do have elastane or other plastic fibers nowadays.

Hiut are 100% cotton raw denim, and made in the UK, but they are expensive and their cuts are dowdy.

I sympathise. I hate the feel of stretchy elastane or lycra or whatever it is, I'd rather just buy the right size in the first place. A lot of tops seem to be stretchy too - they look OK on the hanger but when you put them on they cling in a horrible way. Clothes should fit, or drape, not cling. Which is a long-winded way of saying I'm following this thread...

@ButtSurgery I'm open to anything really but tend to wear a mum jean, straight leg/higher waist, or wide leg jeans. Found some lovely 100% cotton wide legs in matalan recently but just couldnt get the fit!! Such a shame x

I have some wide leg jeans from Uniqlo that have no stretch.

It’s a nightmare! I’ve found a few American brands Ariat, Wrangler, Harley Davidson. I’m not sure what shipping would cost you though.

my advice is to buy several pair when you find them and put some away for the future

Zara have some turn up and mom Jeans 100% cotton in shops currently but most styles have some elastane so always check label. Getting harder to find jeans that don’t feel like jeggings (eww… that word gives me the willies) or thick tights.
