I’m going to an event at Wembley Arena next month and need to drive. How bad is parking in the red car park for arena events? I’m prepared for it to be slow getting out, but does anyone have any experience of it?
I’ve driven for Wembley Stadium events many times and always pay to park on someone’s drive in the local area, but I’ve always felt very unsafe and would rather use the official car park for this event if at all possible.
I also understand I can park at the car park a few tube stops away, but before I decide what to do I’d like to know how bad the official parking actually is for arena events (as I’ve not been to Wembley Arena before!). I always drive for concerts at the O2 so I’m fine with it being slow and would rather wait in my car than a queue for the tube unless it’s genuinely awful!
(The tube/bus is not an option as I will miss the last train home)
Please tell me your experiences of using it!
YABU - It’s genuinely the worst idea ever and you would be better walking home
YANBU - It’s not that bad
