I was trying to get my brain going by browsing news and checking my messages. I try and minimise the amount of social media I look at until I've done everything I need to do for the day, and then I'll browse. I came across this bizarre clip a few days ago and have been wanting to share it for opinions:

There's tons of stuff like this. Am I being a miserable old bugger or is this worrying? Fully prepared to be told I'm miserable. The Instagram accounts of both people are filled with oddness.

I find this (and two or three other very popular tiktokkers) really annoying, but come on.

Is this any different from, for example, Bo Selecta or Ali G? They’re just parodying a trend so hard that it has lost resemblance to the original. It’s still funny to some because it’s several in jokes stitched together.

Weird, off the wall humour has existed for as long as media has. Have you sat down and watched Monty Python lately? Not the movies, which are still the most digestible form of it because they still had to put bums in seats, but the show?

I always found Ali G and Bo Selecta really odd as well. I never found them funny. Monty Python was occasionally funny but not hilarious.
