What is the likelihood given the state of the NHS particularly that you go to a and e with a swollen testicle and less than 24 hours after discharge from hospital with antibiotics for infection they call you in to remove a lump the next day... what are the chances that they are not concerned its cancer? Apparently blood markers show 1 out of 3 elevated levels but surely the urgency and lack of biopsy before lumpectomy suggests there is a level of concern??

Anyone know someone where this has sort of scenario has been a non-issue?

It sounds worrying but my DS(11) was called in for further testing 2 hours after them finding a lump. I was panicking but he was given the all clear. They just wanted to make sure, very quickly.
