I have just started a new job in recent months and I’m not enjoying it. One man has just become line manager and is having a power trip and talks down to people who are answering phone calls. There’s one colleague who swans about and the manager is clearly flirting with her (she’s 20 years younger than him) and it’s clear as day and I think she likely gets treated different. And the man who is ‘training me up’ apparently groped a woman at the office party last year and I was told to keep an eye out on him for any inappropriate behaviour from him. I’ve been sat next to him for most of the time and it’s now making me feel uncomfortable. Why is he still allowed to work here? For context, it’s a call centre for a funeral care team, managing funeral plans and setting them up.
