Thinking of a Butlins big weekender - help me plan

ok, so i have never been, an am ready to throw money at the accomadation
Not skegness as too far so looking at minehead
If we get an apartment - is the top floor better? def not going for bargain

Look at distance from the tent. I go standard rooms because they are closest (I go Skegness). You're not really in the rooms much at all but it's handy to have them close as you can go back and top up drinks and use the toilet (bar and toilet queues are crazy!).

Not sure about Minehead but we go to Skegness every year (this is 11th year) and always stay in the gold apartments. First year we stayed in standard, yes they were closer but dire. The gold in Butlins is just just bog standard anywhere else.
