To think new neighbour was rude?

New neighbour moved in, looks like they are renovated and there’s been numerous building trucks - it’s a cul-de-sac and a slight hill so can be a bit tight.

Everyone has a driveway, but shes presumably not parking on it to allow the builders to park there and she’s parked quite to my house. I don’t particularly care, it’s not causing issues for me to park.

She’s now just knocked on my door and accused me of reporting the car as abandoned (our first interaction by the way), I was a bit 😐, and said I didn’t report it and that my husband who’s not home also wouldn’t have either. She clearly didn’t believe me and just said “well it isn’t abandoned” and then walked off.

I mean clearly someone did report it but they are unlikely to admit it (and also very likely know it’s not abandoned) so I don’t really get her point of angrily accusing strangers.

It's a shame when a new neighbour turns out to be a twat

You should have slammed the door in her face.

Wow, not a great first impression to make. She sounds awful.
