Hard wearing boys school shoes

Any suggestions for the most hard wearing school shoes. School won't allow black trainers and DS14 just destroys shoes. He normally wears dealer boots (for farm work) so is absolutely hopeless with anything that requires any form of care. His last pair of Clarks shoes lasted two months and the emergency (very cheap....we had no choice with two weeks left of school) pair have now done the same. I'd love to say he doesn't play football etc in them a lunchtime but of course he does!!! Any suggestions much appreciated.

Doc martens without question. Schu do a few and they are expensive but worth every penny. Only bought two pairs for my sone through the whole of Secondary school

DM shoes - The school shoes my son ever outgrew rather than wore out

Solovair (made in the DM factory). Or DMs.

DS still put a massive hole through his but they lasted longer than most…

Mine have had Ricosta all the way through and they've been excellent. I think Clark's are abysmal.

This. I'd recommend Solovairs over current DMs any day of the week

Thanks all. He wouldn't agree to DMs so I went down the agricultural dealer boot route instead. A pair of Redbacks later and he's a happy bunny (as am I - they are expensive but they look bullet proof).
