Why do I feel sick during weightlifting?

Just had a six week break from lifting due to school holidays and no child care. Every time I lift weights I want to throw up. I don’t lift anything substantial (only up to 50kg). I’ve had go down to 30 kg but still want to be sick. Any suggestions?

Are you eating adequately before you lift?

@DustyLee123 just breakfast at 7 before gym at 10. Tend to have cornflakes or eggs on toast. Do you think I need to eat more?

Have you done much cardio over summer? You might just need to ease back into it with a few general classes and cardio. Maybe just check your nutrition too i.e plenty of greens and fruit for nutrients. Take some electrolytes to the gym.
