Sick of dog’s dirt

Yet again somebody thought they would leave a pile of dog dirt in our driveway this morning, despite a large council sign right beside it.
AIBU to expect dog owners to stop doing this?

If you don't know whose dog is responsible then you should get a security camera. I've got really cheap ones which are really designed for indoor use but when placed on the upstairs window sill looking out monitor the garden, path and parking space. With an SD card you can record activity.
If you can get footage of whoever is allowing their dog to do this you can send it to your local council. It certainly comes under anti social behaviour or is contrary to dog fouling laws .

God knows who is putting YABU. Of course you're not.

I'd definitely think about getting a camera though

Of course YNBU, it makes me so angry the amount of irresponsible lazy dog owners there are. We constantly get people leaving their dogs poo outside our gate and up and down our road, it's bloody disgusting. It's especially bad along the pathway outside my kids school as it leads to the woods, people are well aware it's used by kids going to/from school but don't care. I have a dog myself but I wouldn't leave her poo everywhere outside people's house or by a school for children to walk through.

Even if you don’t get a camera, a sign saying you have one might help.
But honestly I’d take the day off and lie in wait with a hose

Thanks for suggestions and support. We suspect a particular individual who walks about with his dog off lead and never looks to see where it is or what it’s doing. Problem is, he’s an unpleasant character and we suspect he would be vindictive if crossed. No more dirt at present so might just leave it for now.
