I got my husband to take this photo, he thinks it's just fuzzy neck hair, I think the patches in between the hair are getting bigger and I don't remember it always being there. I also have an issue with the hair on the sides, much thinner than the back and doesn't grow past my ears, the hair at the back grows really quickly?
Anyone else, thoughts?

I think it looks perfectly normal but only you will know if it's changed. How old are you? Thinning hair can be part of perimenopause.

I’m not a hairdresser or alopecia expert, but that doesn’t look like bald patches to me. It just looks like that because of how the hair is being pulled up into the clip surely? Having little fluffy hairs round the edge is normal.

Hormone levels can make fluffy hairs grow, I remember that from after I had my children. My hair went odd round the edges. Have you had any babies recently or anything hormonal happen?

Can you watch and wait and see what happens? Maybe have a look and take a photo every week for a bit. But resist checking every day. You won’t notice any changes on a day by day basis and it will just make you worry a lot.

Okay, I'll take a photo once a week and keep an eye. I've added the photo highlighted the fluffy parts. If this little bit of fluff wasn't here these patches would be bald. It just seems in my opinion to go really far up into my hairline.
No babies recently but I'm 43 so perimenopause perhaps.

Doesn't look like alopecia to me either.
