Relates to a friend of mine (not a close friend but used to spend regular time together when kids at same school and now just follow each other on Instagram) She used to post happy photos of her and the kids, family pets, nights out with friends etc.

She met someone at a sports club and entered into a relationship with him - he has had several relationships with other female members, including one half his age. Within a week of "being official" her Instagram disappeared.

Six months on, it was reactivated to announce they'd got married abroad, without anyone else being there, even her own kids. Left active for a day or two, then gone again. Wedding pics were weird - just them staring at each other very intensely.

Activated again six months later to post another set of photos, this time half naked, again just staring at each other.

It's really given me the creeps, like she's some kind of puppet and he's her master! Christian Grey vibes. Does it sound like he's controlling her or is it just me overthinking? In the last lot of photos she looked genuinely uncomfortable.

She might be controlling him? Don't think there's any way of us knowing what it's all about. Sometimes people deactivate profiles.
