Posting for traffic as it's urgent.
I'm hoping for some advice and recommendations. We're planning a weekend trip for our son, who's turning 14. He was really looking forward to his aunt visiting, but unfortunately, she can no longer make it. He's quite disappointed, and we'd love to cheer him up with a special getaway.

We're trying to plan something that includes activities he’ll enjoy. He loves swimming and is open to trying new things like a spa or archery. We’ve already done theme parks, iFly, and the typical London attractions and museums, so we're looking for something a bit different, but still fun and cool for a teenage boy.

Any suggestions for a weekend destination anywhere in the UK that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I guess it depends on the sort of activities he enjoys, how about go karting or somewhere with high ropes and zip lines - a go ape type place.
Have you seen that you can now book to climb the O2? Have a look on their website, can even book for evening climbs. that could be a memorable gift?

Center Parcs fits the bill perfectly! Lots of activities and things to do, great swimming pools and walks and cycling. Can be a bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

Forest holidays - every cabin has a hot tub for relaxing and they’re all located next/near to a Go ape. Our teens enjoy relaxing there and the archery/axe throwing etc. We’re going for my son’s 18th next month.
