Is it covid? Just a cold? Feel very hot and worn down and a bit of a niggle in my throat

How much is barely? Not peeing in 12 hours is a sign of spesis. Sounds like you may need to go to A and E.

@Changeiscomingthisyear Sorry no no. I am peeing. Just not the amount you'd expect based on how much I'm drinking is all.

How much are you drinking per day, so how many medium sized glasses of water? When you pass urine any issues with urgency/bur ign/pain/odour
when did you last have your bowels opened?
any abdo pain/nausea or temperature as you’ve said your hot have you measured temp? X

FairTurtle · 11/09/2024 18:21

I'm drinking a fair amount. Already had 1.5 litres today.

Bowels opened this morning. So urgency/burning pain, but I did notice an ammonia-like odour earlier, but that also coincided with v dark urine so assumed I was dehydrated.

Not measured temp. Can't find my bloody thermometer!

1.5L isnt a lot especially factoring in a temp and dehydration. I’d probably get some rehydration sachets to be safe if I was you as it isn’t just water but salts and electrolytes you need to replace if dehydrated.

It's probably because you've been dehydrated with the high temperature and sweating. Rehydration sachets are a good call

When I had covid the other month, I was so thirsty. Between the sweating, fever and not wanting to eat, drinking was the only option for me. I didn't pee anymore than I normally would but was drinking about 3l at the worst. I also added in electrolytes and rehydration stuff to try and keep some moisture in me.
