Air BnB Review

AIBU to leave a comment about the beds or is this picky, according to my son.

All 3 beds (2 single, 1double) had memory foam toppers on them which slid off when slept on. The double had two single toppers, which also resulted in a big gap. Also because of the movement the bottom flat sheet came untucked and both DH and DS awoke one morning to find themselves sleeping under the bottom sheet directly on top of the topper.

This is the only negative about the villa but it was quite annoying.

Am i being picky?

You can leave a separate message to the owners that only they see.
I had a similar situation in which everything was fine, except that the mattress was very very soft, to the point where I couldn't sleep. I didn't want to point this out as a negative, because some people like soft mattresses, but I mentioned it to the owners just as a point that they might want to bear in mind.

If you didn't give the owners a chance to fix it then I don't think it should be included in a review. You should however tell them separately as they obviously don't know this is an issue.

Thats super petty. Private message the owner

I'd do that

I think most people would just remove the topper if they didn't like it, so I wouldn't add this to the review.

I would definitely tell the owners in the private message you can send them when you do your review. I mean, if it caused you to have terrible sleep whilst you were there or it affected your holiday negatively then leave a public review to reflect this. I would say though to make sure you balance this critique with all of the things you loved about your stay, assuming there were plenty?!

Thanks for the comments. I think I will mention it to the holiday rental company. It hadn't occurred to me to do that! 🙄
