Is this what has made me throw up

The day before yesterday I made some cauliflower and broccoli in the oven.. I left it in the oven over night. The broccoli was a bit yellow, but otherwise it was fine.

I then proceeded to eat said broccoli at lunch time yesterday and have been throwing up all night now. No diarrhoea just throwing up and stomach pain.

Do you think leaving the broccoli and cauliflower in the oven all night was the culprit ?

I feel so rough.

If it was just the veggies, it's very unlikely. If there was dairy in it maybe.

But there is a lot of norovirus going around, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was that. I thought I had food poisoning until my son started getting sick 12h later.
If it's that, it went quickly though so I hope it's the same for you!

Just to say as well that 3 out 4 in our family had it, and we all had different symptoms (diarrhea or vomiting or both)

Highly unlikely to be from baked vegetables. It's probably a coincidenc and you've got it from something else.

In my experience if it's food poisoning you know exactly what caused it

Okay. I did feel really fired yesterday and had a bit of a fever. So maybe it is a virus. It's been rough.

If it was cooked through I'd honestly be really surprised if it was that... I know it's far from best practice but nonetheless under those conditions I'd still doubt that has made you ill. Did you reheat it?

I didn't reheat it.

I feel so sick. Hate it.
