To ask my neighbour to move their vehicles?

For context, we have a shared forecourt and whilst the land is owned by each neighbour, there is no designated parking per se - though everyone has their ‘usual’ spots and usually in front of their garage.

The neighbours have been having work done on and off for years with it being very much on at the moment. I come home and there’s usually a van blocking access to the forecourt or in my spot and can happen multiple times a week with no acknowledgement from the neighbours or forewarning of the endless work.

I’ve asked them previously to not park in our areas, though this didn’t go down well with me being made out to be the bad person.

I’m sick of the constant skips, workmen, dust/dirt and mess left. Would it be unreasonable for me to ask yet again for them to ask their workmen to stick to their spots?

You can ask but the answer will surely be the same so why bother? Just grit your teeth and park elsewhere until the crew is gone for the day.

The rules for parking posts is that we need a diagram. 😉

If they are blocking access to your garage, could you ask them to move so that you can put your car in your garage?

Park behind them and they can’t get out!

This. Make it as inconvenient for them as they're making it for you
