3 day headache am at wits end

Just that really. V painful headache. Nothing is touching it. Was awake til 5 am last nite and took some neurofen which let me get a couple of hours sleep. It's worse than ever tonight. Anyone ever get similar. It's happened me a few times but usually have to just wait for it to go. Feel like crying whole weekend spoilt

I would seek medical
advice. In the mean time try caffeine and aspirin

Is it stopping you doing normal activities? I've had severe headaches twice previously and both times I've had a raging infection somewhere and requires hospital stays, really very unwell. So, I'm always cautious about severe headaches and would take them seriously.

Could you have Covid? Or could this be a migraine? I agree with others to try (high dose) aspirin but if that’s not effective I’d seek medical advice

As a migraine sufferer here are my tips:

High dose of aspirin (like 800mg) with a highly caffeinated beverage.

Ice pack on your head, alternated with heat if you have the means.

Naproxen if you have access to it can be helpful. Or some kind of over the counter migraine treatment. Syndol is amazing if you can get it.

Sleep. Just sleep that shit off.

Good luck, bad headaches are the worst.

Are your sinuses ok? I had horrendous, disabling headache a couple of years ago. Just couldn't function. Needed antibiotics to sort out...lasted days and nothing touched it...

Warmth round the neck soothed and desperately tried different pressure points to try and relieve pain. Awful..

I had this Weds Thurs Friday! Headache, pain behind one eye. Generally feeling bleugh. Everything I woke in the night it was there.
Friday evening I could walk without flinching. Felt fine Saturday.

Yep sinusitis is vile! Banging headache for days on end plus faceache. Just the pits. Antibiotics are the only thing that gets shot of it
