Feel distant from pregnant friend

My friend is pregnant and I’m really happy for her however I already had children years ago and it is now as if we are at complete different stages of life now. All she talks about is pregnancy, the cravings, vivid dreams she has because she’s pregnant, baby this baby that, and of course she should it’s new for her but I feel like we have nothing in common anymore and kind of avoid her as the conversation is boring and draining. Is this normal or am I just a horrible person😣

Was she supportive during your pregnancies/ when your children were really young?

Was she around when you were pregnant?

She just sounds like an excited new mum with her pregnancy at the forefront of her mind.

It's hard to know without context but it's only 9 months. She's probably just so happy. Is there more to this. Has she been a good friend brfore this?

I'd imagine she might have felt the same when you were having your kids, but as you're still friends she obviously just kept quiet and let you have your moment. Perhaps consider doing the same?
