To ask what this TV programme might be?

So this is a jumbled mess of ideas that I'm hoping someone can unpick.

I'm thinking of a TV drama from before 2015 at least. It may be an episode of something like Lewis (Kevin McNally pops in my head as the detective but that could be misleading).

The drama involves a young girl woman who is a childminder. The actress Hattie Morahan comes to mind but it's not her but someone like her. She kills children in her care. The police officer involved calls his wife to check they have properly checked the credentials of their childminder as it freaks them out.

That's all I have or can piece together.
