My daughter is starting secondary. Didn’t get the best one either, lots of fighting and bad rep but they’ve got a new head teacher now so hoping to improve. Anyway yesterday at the park a group of older teens were rude to the girls as a few met up before starting school, walking back whr and friend chased by a couple on bikes after they tried to get the girls to come over to them. Thankfully a lady was on hand to help out.
she is quite a character, popular, and doesn’t listen much as she knows everything, has sensory issues as well, and we all know secondary schools and teenagers can be a tough time. Any tips from mums with older kids who’ve been through it? Im more nervous than my child but the incidence yesterday as shocked her a bit as she doesn’t want to catch the bus and I have to walk her to the stop
