Hugely emetophobic. Just eaten (about 3 mouthfuls of mouldy garlic bread). How likely am I to get sick?
Stressing out here.

unlikely

very very very unlikely

Not very likely, I wouldn't worry, you're more likely to get some tummy trouble the other end than vomit.

Didimum · 01/09/2024 15:26

Possible but unlikely. I’ve spotted a bit of mould on my sandwiches or toast plenty of times and it’s never made me sick.

WonderingWanda · 01/09/2024 15:27

No

Howlongdoesittake · 01/09/2024 15:28

Thank you. I am totally freaking out while my sensible part of my head says it’s unlikely and if I do throw up I will survive.

Mouldy bread won’t make you unwell in any way.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 01/09/2024 15:40

If you are, it's more likely to be entirely psychosomatic in nature due to your anxiety.

Howlongdoesittake · 01/09/2024 15:45

@NeverDropYourMooncup i totally agree. I’m off for a walk to take my mind off it.

thank you everyone
