posting here for more traffic…no real AIBU I suppose…
I’m 5,2ish and a size 10, brunette. Age 39.
I Have two weddings in October and I’m thinking of this dress but I’m unsure which colour. Which do you think?
1 wedding is in a farm with barn conversion. And the other is a hotel wedding.

I prefer the green.

LlynTegid · 01/09/2024 15:15

Wrong shade of green to me, so has to be the other one.

For brunette I would say the first colour despite liking the green. They are very different colours so can you go on one of those colours websites to see which suits you best

Both lovely, but the green I think.

EliflurtleAndTheInfiniteMadness · 01/09/2024 15:18

The green, red is the wrong shade for me.

Sunshineandtequila · 01/09/2024 15:18

Green and I’m brunette.

HamSad · 01/09/2024 15:18

YABU.

SatansBobbleheadedDashboardOrnament · 01/09/2024 15:20

Green is far nicer and will be easier to accessorise.

If you post this in Style & Beauty you'd get plenty of responses.

I did…I’m just impatient as I need to order in a while. 🤣

I really like both …so I’m no help sorry lol. But I think green would make brunette hair pop

Durdledore · 01/09/2024 15:26

They’re both nice <helpful 😂>

Do you have the funds to order both and have a try on to see which jumps out at you once you have the colour on your actual self?

Oldraver · 01/09/2024 15:27

Green, the brown is so dull

Oldraver · 01/09/2024 15:27

Or order both and see what suits you best with your hair not brown

RacingDriver · 01/09/2024 15:28

I ordered the green one for a wedding in the summer - it’s lovely but much more sheer than I was expecting and felt more like a holiday evening / beach wedding dress than for one in the UK. Might have just been me (I’m larger than you) but thought I’d mention it in case you wanted to consider other options too.

AbraAbraCadabra · 01/09/2024 15:29

The brown is horrible and bleugh. Def the green.

Spatchula · 01/09/2024 15:30

What type of brunette are you? Irish or Italian? For the first green for the second brown.

Both dresses are gorgeous, I prefer the green but if I was you I would order both see which suits best and return one.

OldTinHat · 01/09/2024 15:40

Oooh tricky one! I'd say go with the green and accessorise with gold or bronze for the hotel wedding.

Positivenancy · 01/09/2024 16:05

@OldTinHat sounds like a plan, thank you

Green.

I very nearly bought that dress for a wedding in May. Love it.

ErrolTheDragon · 01/09/2024 16:10

The green is a nicer colour.
But the reddish one would be good if you're likely to get red wine spilt on it.Grin
