Going on holiday with friends or solo rather than partner

Does anyone else do this? DH and I have limited childcare support so, realistically, if we want any child-free time away in the next 16 years, it won't be together.

I went alone in June, to Rhodes it was bliss. My partner fad exams so stayed home

I love holidays with friends.

Solo holidays are even better.

I go away on my own every year, love the ability to choose to speak or not! And sleep as late as I like and move as little as I like 😂

I love solo holidays. I used to travel on my own all the time pre kids, recently had my first solo trip in 14 yrs, it was fab.

We do this. I went to London for a few days by myself last autumn - had a blast. DP goes away for maybe 4 nights twice a year for his hobby, with his pals.

We go on one short family holiday all together each year but other than that we travel alone!

My DD only has one living grandparent who very kindly takes my DD overnight from time to time but just for one night, when we go out for dinner or maybe a night away to a local spa or something. I don't have anyone that I would be able to leave her with for longer than that if DP and I wanted to go away together, but to be honest I like our separate holidays so its a non-issue!
