To think the Paralympics is fucking unwatchable

Because of the endless, endless ads. I've switched it on five times today and every time I've managed to do so in the middle of an interminable advert break.

I don't need it explained to me, I'm just fed up and moaning.

You can watch it online too through Channel 4 on YouTube. At least it's free to view unlike Discovery with the Olympics, that I paid for and it still had ads!

It is annoying but that's why you can watch it free, because of the adverts.

It's great though.

I'm sure it's great when you actually get to see sport. I've just watched 30 mins of a mix of ads, Clare Balding and life stories.

You were watching the wrong feed on Discovery Plus- some didn't have ads.

I've given because of the relentless adverts. On catch up it's even worse. I was out during the opening ceremony and tried to watch when I got in on catch up but it was impossible.

Generally I don't mind adverts (some are quite clever and they have to pay the bills) and it's a loo break, but I genuinely forget what I'm watching sometimes they have so many.

I paid 6 for Discovery and it was so worth it. Wish there was that option!

I've given up.

I did not watch 1 minute of the Olympics, too many sports, too much TV time, dont know the names, too much money spent on the event every 4 years, just not my thing.

One of the joys of the BBC.

Even with ads the coverage is still better than the shitshow the bbc made of the Olympics. At least C4 actually show some sport rather than some washed up twat talking about the sport and plugging their new book.

I haven't watched any of the C4 coverage, and only watched the first week of the BBC's. Most of that was swimming and gymnastics and I didn't think it was a shit show at all.

The coverage is definitely better on the Channel 4 sports YouTube channel, there's so much to choose from compared to the BBC Olympics coverage.

Put the same sports on BBC and commercial channel and BBC gets a larger audience every time.

I'm sure, but I have an old lady telly in my kitchen that only has free view.

It most definitely isn't better coverage.

I want to see the sports. Not adverts or filler content.
