Teenage party

Dd is 13 and wants to go to a party
she has told me some kids might have drink but she won’t
the mum will be upstairs at the party
the friend is well known to her going with her whole friend group
but I can’t shake a feeling that I’m worried. I keep reading about teenagers stabbing each other and I’m worried about this
am I being silly or am I worried for good reason

Drinking alcohol at the age of 13?
That would be a hard No from me, OP.
The mother is a fool if she allows this.

Iv asked her if there will be alcohol and she said some kids might get hold of some but she wouldn’t be having any! I’m not sure the mother is allowing but my dd is being honest when I ask her if that’s the case

I would not allow my 13yo to go to a party without a quick check with the supervising parents.

If there was a chance of alcohol I would not be ok with them going.

13yo is young.

It’s a no from me

Your daughter has at least been honest with you, I certainly wasn't with my mum! Maybe a quick check with the parents?
