Baby Sling

Posting here for traffic as I'm not sure which category would best suit this question.

I have a very close relatives funeral to attend on Wednesday. My baby will be 10 days old and due to everyone being at the funeral (unexpected death) I won't have any childcare at all, so my only option is to take baby with me.

I've seen some baby slings online but on closure inspection they all state a weight range of over 7.5lb before use. Baby is only currently 6lb 1.

Any recommendations for something useful but on the cheaper side would be greatly appreciated?!

TIA

I understand times quickly running out to get one sorted too so ideally one from a high street shop or somewhere with next day delivery would be needed. Hence the traffic post really being urgent to an extent. X

Contact Sheffield sling library. They will do zoom call about what is best. Offer a postal service to hire a zoom for check. I think a wrap should be ok but as long as fit is ok. Sorry for your loss

I carried my baby 3 days pp on hana stretchy wrap. Check close caboo weight range

Close Caboo should work. Good luck.

Caboo or two way stretchy. If you have a local sling library they will be able to help you with the fit for a tiny baby to make sure it’s safe and secure.

I second the Hana. Carried my daughter in one of these from birth, and it's fine for your weight range too.

It's important / vital you follow the TICKS advice particularly with a small newborn.
