Inside of nose has changed? What?!

I don’t know if I’m explaining this properly but here goes - have you ever looked up your nose in a mirror and noticed inside your nose the shape has changed? there are fleshy bits of actual nose inside your nostrils that weren’t there last time you looked ages ago? Does anyone know what this is?! Thanks!

If you’ve injured the nose you could have a deviated septum, although this isn’t fleshy, it’s harder. I guess age and gravity could also change the shape.

My nose was always asymmetrical inside due to a deviated septum. I didn’t realise it was abnormal until a few years ago.

No nose injuries other than getting whacked in the face occasionally by my 4yr old. It’s inside the actual nose, not the septum. Very random!
