Hairdresser

I have a lovely hairdresser. I’ve been with her around eight years. Last year, due to stress and life events, I started to have thinning of my once fine but “loads of it” hair. My hairdresser was amazing. Her suggestions were always helpful and she’s helped me through a difficult time.

But.

She insists on doing layers. I want to concentrate on blunt and always say “no. No more layers”. I went on Tuesday and we were chatting and she said “I know you’re not keen but, I’m going to just cut into this breakage to thicken it”.

As usual, it hasn’t thickened it. I’ve now got scraggy layers where the front length was quite blocky and gave the illusion of “more hair”.

Why! Why does she do this? I’m actually quite cross!!

AIBU? I just want what I ask for.

Just change. It's important you have that you want no matter how nice she has been.
