So my little one spiked a high temp 38.9 last night after her vaccinations we were treating with calpol but had given the max dose in 24 hours so went to hospital where it didn't spike again and all was well we came home . She is currently reading at 37.6 but feels very hot would you give calpol ? I know 38 is considered a fever and so dont want to give paracetamol unnecessarily but also don't not want to give it if I should ?

How old is your baby?

Is she symptomatic? 37.6 isn't an, issue unless she's feeling unwell with it. Treat the symptoms, not the fever. Unless it's a raging temperature, that is.
