So last week I developed a sore, hot swollen lump on my ear lobe. Glands up, incredibly painful neck, low temperature, generally feeling a bit crap, all followed. After a week of this I saw the gp which was on Monday. Got antibiotics, all good. Except my ear lobe is still hot and swollen, albeit slightly less so. I'm still feeling rubbish and today I woke up with awful dizziness. I still have a day and a half of antibiotics and I really don't want to bother the gp on their busiest day if I'm just being dramatic.

Wibu to contact them? Or shall I wait out my course of antibiotics and see then?

A bit late now because the doctors are closed. If no better tomorrow and you will have run out of antibiotics you could try asking a pharmacist for advice. Alternatively you could phone (which ever number is relevant for where you are in the country) for nhs advice/request an our of hours appointment - depending on what is provided in your area.

Hope you feel better soon.
