To be annoyed about incorrect lyrics

Lighthearted one... I heard the Hoosiers song playing in a shop recently and my kids asked me to play it when we got home. I couldn't remember the band so was trying, and failing, to Google the song about being 'worried about rain'.

It turns out they aren't worried about rain. I'm irrationally annoyed. Who the heck is Ray and what is happening with him? I thought it was a song about being worried about the future - symbolised by rain clouds as a way of representing bad things.

Aibu to (very minorly) annoyed that I've been singling the wrong lyrics for years? Please help me feel better by sharing your own misheard lyrics.

I've said this before but I can't believe I was singing Alright by Supergrass completely wrong for the last 30 years! It turns out 'we are young, we run free, we part-y, basically' aren't the correct lyrics at all. The real words are something about running green and keeping teeth nice and clean. I only found out because it was on Broken Karaoke!

I was very upset that Shaggy wasn't making jam in NY. I only realised it when I heard Sting singing about being an English man in NY.
